I ordered my credit report from 3 credit bureau (experian, equifax, transunion) and surprisingly each credit monitoring service give me different credit scores. Since they get that information from the same 3 credit bureau howcome I got different scores?

I’ve got a negative credit item that is preventing me from obtaining new credit but it’s only showing up on my experian credit report. My equifax report is pretty clean. Is there any particular credit card companies that use equifax not experian (i’ve found that credit card companies consistently use just one of the 3 major credit rating companies (equifax,transunion or experian) to check credit worthiness.

I believe that employers should be forbidden to fire/hire based on a person’s credit history, credit report, or credit worthiness. Frankly, I hate all the credit rating agencies (Equifax, Experian, Transunion, Moody’s, Standard & Poor).

There is no transparency. There should be a law where we know exactly how it’s calculated. What do you think is the best way to start a war against these companies?

We’re trying to obtain a FHA loan, and we need to meet a minimum credit score of 585 with Regions Bank. We’ve been monitoring our credit scores over the past month. When we ran our last credit report 2 days ago, our scores were:

Equifax: 619
Experian: 569
TransUnion: 552

Today, our credit scores jumped. We now know through myFico.com that we have these scores:

Equifax: 626
TransUnion: 567

Does anyone know if our Experian score might have gone up too? Enough maybe to be over the 580 threshold (because we know this will be our middle score for the loan).

There’re so many sites out there that will provide you with all three major credit bureau reports (Experian, TransUnion & Equifax) and many do provide a free trial but, once the free trial is done that’s when they start their hefty monthly fees on your acct. I’m looking for the cheapest out there which will provide me with all three acurate reports and still be the most affordable. Has anyone done some research on this and provide me with the cheapest site? Thank you!

Was told to ring equifax and request my credit report tried to do this online but all they have done is mess me around. They said my bank details weren’t registered at the address ive got yet they still took the £2 off me and refuse to send the credit report. Am very annoyed because i only want to check that past debts have been updated on my credit report as i’d have thought my credit reating would be better by now. Is there any other way that i can get a detailed credit report. Don’t want to deal with equifax anymore cause i feel let down by them. They are quick enough to dampen your credit but no help when you want to sort it out!!
