which credit card companies check with equifax ?

I’ve got a negative credit item that is preventing me from obtaining new credit but it’s only showing up on my experian credit report. My equifax report is pretty clean. Is there any particular credit card companies that use equifax not experian (i’ve found that credit card companies consistently use just one of the 3 major credit rating companies (equifax,transunion or experian) to check credit worthiness.
