Please answer my question please! it’s about my credit?

I just got a report of my credit report online and it doesn’t look good at all. I have poor credit it’s all messed up I have a car loan I never miss a payment I just pay late sometimes and I have a credit car balance that I owe. The problem is that in September, I will be going to school full time and I will need to get a loan. How am I going to get a loan if I have really messed up credit? I mean is there any chance forme would I be approved because it’s for school? I am trying to fix my credit right now how long will it take to get better? thnks.
